Very interesting article about how meetings can affect developers as they work on a different ‘unit’ of time in their working day.  Whereas managers tend to work around one hour appointments, and organise their day as such, developers working on code need and tend to work in units of half a day. 

IBM might have fixed the whole one hour meeting trend having filed a patent aimed at tackling the "arbitrary hour-based scheduling paradigm".… Read more
