What a year!
2016 has been quite a year! Looking back at what we’ve achieved in the last 12 months, it’s crazy how fast time has flown. We’ve welcomed new clients, project launches and team-members but this year the New Year feels a little bit more exciting than usual.
We’ve recently announced our participation in an apprenticeship scheme which has been on our minds for a while. Welcome to Michelle and Dylan! But they’re not the only new faces of 2016. We also brought on board; Rob (Head of Design), Isabel (Producer), Alice and Callum (Front-end Developers) and most recently, Mark Taylor (Senior Producer).
Why all these new faces? We’ve been pleased to announce several new clients and projects over the year including; Royal Armouries, Science Museum, King’s Fund, Channel 5, Kew, Staffordshire University, The Space, General Dental Council. This is all in addition to continuing to work on new projects for clients such as Channel 4, Blue Cross, Scottish Natural Heritage, Allianz UK, Heritage Lottery Fund and more. Check out our case study pages if you want a reminder of all the great clients we work with.
We can’t sum up the year without going into some of the great acknowledgement we’ve had including 7 nominations from; BIMA (Goldsmiths, University of London), DADI (Goldsmiths, University of London and Blue Cross), UXUK (Allianz UK and Blue Cross), DXA (Blue Cross) and Heist (Goldsmiths. University of London).
Massive congratulations to Goldsmiths for winning the Heist Best Website Award and Blue Cross for winning both UXUK and DXA for their sector! Here’s to more award wins next year!
So what about 2017?
New starters, new clients, new award wins… now all we need is some new offices to house all of these accolades and talented people! After 15 years at 46 The Calls, agency growth means we are now in need of a bit more space. Numiko is delighted to announce that we will be moving to a bigger central Leeds in February! Millennium Square is a great central Leeds location and surrounded by some of the most iconic buildings the city has to offer including Leeds City Museum and the Carriageworks Theatre/Electric Press development. We can’t wait to move in and enjoy a new prime location and there have even been discussions of a new Numiko website to match… We will let you know when the beer fridge is stocked and we’re open to visitors. It’d be great to show you around!
