Performance Analyst
We're looking for an experienced analytics expert to manage custom tracking using Google Analytics 4. You'll be well-versed in using data to analyse user behaviour trends and user journeys.
As our performance analyst, you'll play a crucial role in driving continuous improvement, optimizing client sites, and contributing to Numiko's reputation for excellence in digital solutions.

Accountabilities
Analysing user behaviour:
- You will set up and manage custom tracking using Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager for all client sites.
- You will use data to analyse user behaviour trends and user journeys to provide actionable insights.
- You will be responsible for ensuring that clients receive regular insightful reporting on user trends and behaviour, identifying opportunities to implement best practices.
Defining success metrics:
- You will work with stakeholders in client organisations to define metrics for success in all digital projects. For Numiko’s clients, these tend not to be financial metrics, so experience of measuring success through non-financial metrics, such as engagement or task success are a must for this role.
- You will ensure that metrics are intrinsically linked to clients' organisational and digital strategies.
- You will build dashboards and visualise data effectively in Looker Studio to present insights to clients.
Formulating recommendations for improvement:
- You will lead the agency’s efforts to foster an environment of continuous improvement in our work, using your substantial expertise in data analysis to provide targeted insights and recommendations for enhancement to all client sites.
- You will identify opportunities for content improvements through keyword analysis in Google Search Console.
- You will utilise heatmap and screen recording analysis tools such as HotJar and MS Clarity to enhance the user experience.
- You will work with colleagues from across the agency, drawing on their expertise to formulate recommendations in a collaborative way.
Auditing client sites
- You will conduct performance analysis of client sites, providing feedback to the clients and the business development team in areas such as search engine ranking.
- You will conduct technical SEO audits using tools like SEMrush.
Testing
- You will lead the agency’s efforts to optimise client sites, with particular focus on A/B testing initiatives, using platforms such as Google Optimize, VWO, or similar.
