We are Numiko.
A Digital Communications Agency.

We solve digital problems for our clients through user research, design and technology across digital platforms. We like working with people who make a difference and we have the pleasure of working with some brilliant clients to help them engage their audiences, from BBC and Channel 4, to the National Lottery Good Causes, NESTA and the NSPCC.

Millions of people logged online and tuned in to Channel 4 for Easter Eggs Live, a unique multi-platform project which captured the hearts of the nation. Working with Channel 4 and Windfall Films, Numiko welcomed people into the weird and wonderful world of eggs for this ground-breaking, 24-hour viewing spectacular.

BBC Your Paintings

There are more than 210,000 publically-owned oil paintings in the UK. But the vast majority of these are locked away and hidden from view. That was until the BBC and Public Catalogue Foundation asked Numiko to develop Your Paintings: an award-winning treasure trove giving the public the chance to discover some of the country’s finest artworks and the stories behind them.

Film 4 Scene Stealers

To celebrate three decades of supporting the best of British films, Numiko worked with Film4 to launch Scene Stealers; a competition that encouraged budding young filmmakers to recreate their favourite Film4 moments on any kind of video camera.

Good Causes
National Lottery

The National Lottery Good Causes

Over £30 million is spent on the National Lottery's 'Good Causes' every week, but few Lottery players make the connection between this and buying a ticket. Numiko completely reinvented how digital should work to achieve this, working on social media, on-site London 2012 installations, website and social media applications to increase knowledge and understanding of Lottery good causes.

Channel 4 & Cancer Research UK

Stand Up To Cancer

Channel 4 and Cancer Research UK joined forces to launch Stand Up To Cancer in the UK, a live night of fundraising to cure cancer. Numiko designed and built the Stand Up To Cancer website, which focussed on encouraging donations, whilst also providing an engaging experience for users watching the show. On the night of transmission, £6.5 million was raised.

Channel 4 & Windfall Films

Foxes live: Wild In The City

Foxes Live: Wild in the City was one of Channel 4’s most successful multi-platform projects.

Numiko were invited to bring it to life online and create the programme brand. The site uncovered the secret life of the urban fox, mapping their every move using GPS collars and den cameras, and also surveying what the public really thought of them.

Primary Art

We were commissioned by the BBC to redesign the entire BBC Primary Art site, which is a major resource for teachers in primary schools. We introduced interactive guides, games and techniques videos to make this a practical, useful guide that looks, well, like a piece of art in itself.

Time to Change
Mind & Rethink Mental Illness

Time To Change

The Time to Change campaign aims to destigmatise the topic of mental health; a particular challenge with 14-18 year olds.

Numiko was tasked with creating a digital strategy targeting at this age group to bridge the gap between those who’ve experienced mental health problems and those who haven't.
