A look back at our year of building great digital for good

Overview

2025 was a landmark year for us – a year where we grew our team, evolved our identity, reached even more users, and celebrated a milestone moment in our story. Here are some of the highlights.

Recognised as one of the most admired agencies of 2025

We were proud to be named one of The Wow Company’s Most Admired Agencies of 2025 in the Leadership category. They noted how we balance innovation with integrity – using AI, automation and experimentation in thoughtful ways that strengthen our work and help us deliver better digital experiences. It is an absolute honour to receive this type of recognition.

Reaching more users than ever

Across the websites and platforms that we support, we served 54 million users and generated 116 million sessions and 302 million page views. If users of Numiko-built websites were a country, it’d have the same population as Italy. Mamma mia!

Great Digital for Good Conference

We hosted our second Great Digital for Good conference – a day where digital leaders from purpose-driven organisations came together to share ideas, swap insights, and explore how digital can tackle real-world challenges. It’s quickly becoming one of our favourite moments of the year.

Celebrated our 25th birthday

In June, we celebrated 25 years of building great digital for good! A quarter century of creative problem-solving, learning, and making work that actually makes a difference – all thanks to the brilliant people who make Numiko what it is.

Welcomed seven new Numikons

We grew our team with seven new colleagues: Beth Masic as Project Manager, Kelly Gardner as Senior UX Specialist, Jasmin Burn as Senior Project Manager, Alan Napieralski as Junior Front-End Developer, Paul Costello as Client Partner, Clémentine Boivin as Senior Performance Analyst and Olivia McCarthy as Marketing Assistant – Expanding not just our headcount, but the range of ideas, experiences and conversations that shape our work.

Sharing what we know

Over the past year, we’ve taken Numiko on the road, sharing our expertise at conferences like Scottish Web Folk, Museum & Tech, ContentEd, UK EduCamp and the Engaging Networks Charity Conference  – exchanging ideas, learning together and connecting with fellow digital makers.

Some of the development team also headed to the Netherlands for Drupal Jam, where they got to see the future of Drupal coming together first-hand.

Webinars

We continued sharing what we’re learning through webinars this year, focusing on practical, real-world challenges. From exploring how AI can automate everyday CMS tasks and free up content teams, to unpacking AI bot scraping, and sharing actionable strategies for digital transformation, these sessions were all about useful ideas teams can put into practice straight away.

Our new identity

To mark our 25th year, we unveiled a new Morse code-inspired identity – a stripped-back, purposeful system rooted in one of the oldest digital languages. It is a visual reminder of what we believe in: clear communication, simple signals, and digital work that cuts through the noise.

AI dreaming

As AI continues to shape digital experiences, we’ve been exploring how it might open up new ways of engaging with cultural collections. We collaborated with the National Gallery on Dreaming – an AI-powered interactive experiment that lets visitors explore the collection using their voice. Speak a prompt, and the screen takes you on a playful, serendipitous journey through thousands of artworks.

Supporting the next generation

At BIMA Digital Day and the Leeds Digital Careers Fair, we helped young people explore the world of digital and encouraged them to see how technology, creativity and purpose can shape a career worth getting excited about.

Looking ahead

It’s been a busy year, but we’ve got even more in store for 2026. Watch this space for a slate of big new project launches, new experiments, insightful webinars and a whole lot more. Our ambitious goals mean you can expect even more from the Numiko team next year.

Hopefully we’ll see you in 2026. Until then, have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
